Reiki Training
Reiki is an energy, a holistic healing system. The word Reiki is a Japanese word meaning ‘universal life energy’.
Usui Reiki is a healing system developed by Dr. Mikao Usui at the start of the 20th century.
Reiki can be beneficial for a range of issues and works on all levels – physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual.
Reiki is also a wonderful way to maintain your well-being even if there is no particular issue you wish to work on.
There are three levels in Reiki training. Reiki I, Reiki II and Master/Teacher.
For each level you will receive an attunement from your Reiki Master which opens up the energy channels, allowing the Reiki energy to flow through you, thus allowing you to channel this wonderful energy for yourself and others. Once you are attuned to Reiki it will stay with you for the rest of your life.
At Roots & Wings Therapies we supply training to all three levels of Usui Reiki.
Reiki I:
Includes:
- The history of Reiki
- Attunements to Level I
- Meditation
- Teaching of self-healing hand positions
- Teaching of hand positions to heal others
- Reiki I Manual
- Certificate upon completion.
Reiki II:
Includes:
- Attunements to Level II
- Receive three symbols and learn their uses
- Learn how to do a distance healing
- Reiki II manual
- Certificate upon completion.
Master/Teacher:
Includes:
- Receive Master attunement
- Receive Master Symbol and learn uses
- Learn how to teach/give attunements
- Reiki Master manual
- Certificate upon completion.

As Reiki is an energy, it can be sent remotely and this is one of the many wonderful aspects of Reiki. Your attunements will be sent as a distance attunement and you will also benefit from video and e-mail contact as part of your Reiki training. You will also receive handouts as part of your course.
