Mindfulness Course

Mindfulness is the practice of consciously focusing the mind in the present moment without judgement or attachment and with compassion for self and others.

Regular mindfulness practice has been shown to have a number of benefits including:

  • Interrupting negative thought patterns;
  • Help to reduce anxiety and irritability;
  • Help improving memory;
  • Improved creativity;
  • Enhanced emotional, mental and physical well-being;
  • Lowered stress levels;
  • Increased emotional resilience;
  • Reduced worry and rumination;
  • Enhancing self-compassion;
  • Help in managing the inner critic;
  • Improved decision-making.

 

Our six-week course is an enjoyable introduction to Mindfulness.

Each session lasts for one hour.

 

We will explore the benefits of mindfulness and how we can practice day-to-day.

Each week we will also benefit from in-session formal mindfulness practices and support for ongoing formal practice outside of sessions.

 

The price includes handouts to help you with your between-session practice and learning.

Between-session practice is an important part of your learning.
